Note(s): This series is the first of several Tetsujin 28-go television programs. Some sources about this series counts this as two series based on the four month gap between the first 83 episodes of the series and the final 13 episodes. This series was remade in 1980 and 1992.

Chou Dendo Robo Tetsujin-go 28 FX is a sequel to the events of this series although not directly made as a sequel.

The Gigantor translation of this program only included 52 episodes from this series.
